On Friday, July 25th 2011, the Abhilasha Project hosted a Dinner Gala at McGill University in The Shatner Ballroom. Our host for the evening, Gayatri Sagar offered the guests an entertaining evening keeping them engaged throughout the event. On behalf of the entire team at Abhilasha, we would like to thank her for her unwavering support of the project for the past several years and her generous contribution.
The evening would not have been possible without the generous support of L’Academie Restaurant- Crescent Branch, that provided a delicious and succulent dinner that kept our guests coming back for more (and more!). The remaining food from the event was donated to Chez Doris, a women’s shelter in Montreal.
Our phenomenal performers dazzled our guests by transporting them across continents, from the Argentine Tango to the elegant and intricate dance form of Bharatnatyam to contemporary and fun dances of Bollywood and kept them entertained throughout the evening.
