On November 5th, 2009 the Abhilasha Project (Ottawa
Chapter) organized its very first event of the year:
KRAZY FOR KARAOKE. We sang, danced and ate all night!
We raised $700 for the Abhilasha Project. All the
money will be donated to the Abhilasha School in India,
helping children with disabilities reach their full
potential through a quality education.
The Ottawa Hip Hop group, Pulse N’ Limited performed
an amazing dance routine. A big thank you to the entire
crew! Also, thank you to Ammar from the University
of Ottawa for his great beat-boxing performance. Our
Dj did a great job and played our favourite songs
all night. Thank you Jarrad!
This event would not have been possible without the
help of all our dedicated volunteers and sponsors.
Thank you to all the AMAZING volunteers, to everyone
who cooked delicious food for the event and to all
the restaurants who donated food and gift certificates.
